Went to see my doctor 2 weeks ago for my regular checkup. It's the usual routine: register, take blood test, wait for > 1 hour, see doctor, get my insulin from pharmacy.
Everytime when I see doctor, I will always have this feeling like a student waiting for their exam results. Nervous and clueless. This time round, I do not know if my HbA1c is going to be high or low. For the past few checks, my HbA1c has been maintaining at quite a good level, not sure about this time round. After > 1 hour wait, finally it's my turn!!! Doctor is always perky whenever I see her. First question she will always ask me is: How are you? ^_^
Then she will start taking my pressure and then reviewing my results. Hmm..this time round, my HbA1c is 7.1. Hmmm...slightly higher than the previous time which was around 6.8, i think. 7.1 is still quite all right but I wish I can maintain a < 7 HbA1c.
Realized Doc has been helping me with some publicity on my blog. Thanks Doc! ^_^
Everytime when I walked out from the room, I will feel very guilty. Why? Because I have been a naughty patient. Never follow what doctor has asked me to do. This time round, I will make sure I have followed doctor's instructions and target to have my HbA1c < 7.
