What Is the Exact Cause of My Pancreas Failure?

Happened to see this article today. It said that there will be more and more youth diabetics in Europe by end of 2020. Meaning, they will join me as Type 1 Diabetic.

What is the exact cause of Type 1 diabetic? Till now, there is still no definite cause. It could be in the genes but could be environmental as well.
What is environmental?
These include increases in weight and height, less exposure to early infections in childhood and delivery by caesarean section.
This reminded me......a month ago, I went to visit a Chinese sinseh for a arm fracture. As usual, sinseh will want to understand more about me and the illnesses that I have. Told him I am type 1 diabetic. As usual, the reaction is surprised. He cannot believe that I am type 1 diabetic at such a young age... errr......actually I am not that young. From chinese sinseh point of view, the possible cause of type 1 diabetes (when no other people in my family has this) could be due to a serious illness that I had when I was young. Could be the bacteria from that illness is still residing in the body and that's why it attacked my pancreas resulting in me having Type 1 diabetes..... Well, mom recalled that I had a serious illness when I was young and that could be the case..... Anyway, that cannot be confirmed and nothing can be done to reverse that. It's still a mystery why I have it....

New Hope For Type 1?

Was watching the News on Channel U today. It mentioned that an Australian Institution is experimenting on a new drug for Type 1 and there could be hope for Type 1s!!!! Right now, they are testing on white mice and will need another 2 more years of experiments before they can officially test on humans. And they need another 1o years before they can market it out. hmmm...By that time, I will be already in my 40s.......


Well, there are alot of reports about news drugs or cure for Type1. Till now, there is no concrete evidence or claim to proof that the drugs or cure that they are experimenting works for Type 1!

Will there really be a 100% cure for Type 1 which can end our agony of having to inject ourselves with needle?
Still waiting for real good news......
